Gérard Bertrand's Vision behind the Clos d'Ora

In a setting of sparkling vines , where the
sun caresses the grape varieties in the heart of Languedoc , nestles Clos d'Ora , a wine that transcends simple nectar to become a true ode to the earth and to
the passion of Gérard Bertrand .

This wine, born from a bold vision , embodies the
encounter between man and his environment , between tradition and innovation , while offering a memorable experience with every sip .

Gérard Bertrand , as a committed master winemaker , has
chosen to give birth to Clos d'Ora .

As a tribute to the biodiversity and wild beauty of the land . By sticking to a biodynamic approach, he created a living ecosystem where each plant, each insect plays its role.

When opening a bottle of Clos d'Ora , a
A captivating fragrance awakens: notes of ripe red fruits , violet and spices blend harmoniously , like a sweet melody that attracts the senses .

On the palate, the richness of the wine is revealed with a velvety texture , offering a dance of flavors that evokes memories of sunny landscapes . Each sip becomes an exploration , a sensory journey that stimulates
imagination .

d'Ora
, speak of an exceptional vintage, capable of revealing its nuances over time.

Its silky tannins and aromatic complexity make it an ideal companion for refined dishes , but also for simple moments with friends.

Gérard Bertrand wanted each sip of Clos d'Ora to be a reflection of the soul of Languedoc , a mixture of passion , respect and love for nature .

Jamie Goode's Review of Clos d'Ora 2018 - AOP Minervois La Livinière

94/100 Point
Exceptional site overlooking a geological fault, a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Grenache. Rich, powerful, concentrated with a light texture and great depth of plum, cherry and blackberry. Concentrated and sweet at the same time, with no rough edges.
It's just a baby, but it's already very approachable.
