From the button to the bottle: a journey to the heart of the grape

Du bouton à la bouteille : voyage au coeur du raisin

Question for a winemaker: how do these magical little grapes become the divine drink we love so much?

Fasten your seatbelts, because we're going to explore the key moments in the life of the grape, from beginning to end. Let's go on a fascinating adventure in the vineyards.

The Flowering

This is the moment when it all begins. In spring, the vines are adorned with beautiful flowers, delicate and fragile. Each flower contains the potential to become a delicious grape.

The Fruit Set

After flowering comes fruit set, the stage where flowers turn into small green fruits. Clusters begin to form, and each berry begins its journey to maturity. It's like witnessing the birth of a wine star.

Maturation

Summer is coming, and with it, the sun warms the vineyards. The grapes are slowly ripening, gaining in flavor and sugar. This is the crucial time when winemakers closely monitor the weather and the health of the vines. Every day counts to achieve perfection in each bunch.

The Harvest

When the grapes reach their optimum ripeness, it is harvest time. The winegrowers, sometimes helped by grape pickers, carefully pick the bunches. It is a true celebration of nature and the hard work of an entire season. The vineyards are in full swing.

The Tasting

Finally, the most awaited moment: the tasting. The fruit of the work of the vine, transformed by the magic of time and know-how, is ready to be savored. Each sip tells a story, reflecting the terroir, the climate and the passion of the winegrowers.

The life of the grape is a series of precious moments that culminate in the bottle we hold in our hands. Each step, from flowering to tasting, is a piece of the puzzle that creates the wine we love.
So, cheers, and to appreciating each sip as a tribute to these great moments of grapes!
