Description of the wine

Gérard Bertrand reveals the history of the great terroirs of the South of France.
The year 462 marks the beginning of the prosperous reign of the Visigoth people in Languedoc.
From the remains of their palace, we inherited our emblem, the cross with doves, a symbol of sharing and fraternity.

To be enjoyed at 18°C with grilled meats, meats and roasted poultry or mature cheeses.

Vinification and aging

The different grape varieties are harvested manually and separately, in order to obtain optimal maturity for each, with Syrah generally being the earliest. The vinifications are also adapted to each grape variety, in order to respect their own characteristics and the capacities of the terroirs. Some of the Syrah is vinified in whole bunches, with a vatting period of around 15 days. The Grenache is 100% destemmed and the maceration times are around 3 weeks. The extraction work is carefully adapted to each vat, in order to favour good extraction of varietal aromas, as well as a silky and dense structure. Some of the wine is aged in 225-litre Bordeaux barrels for around 10 months, with casks being placed immediately after pressing.

Tasting note

The dress is a beautiful purple red. The nose, spicy, recalls the essence of cedar. The mouth is round and voluptuous, the tannins are fresh and well defined.

What are the delivery times and costs?

Although all orders are shipped within 24 hours, it can take up to 48 hours in some cases.
We then offer different delivery methods:

Delivery to a collection point takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 business days from the time of dispatch.
Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, on pallet, etc.) and the price is calculated at the time of validation of the basket.
Standard delivery is free in France for orders over €125 and in other countries for orders over €300.

What payment methods do you accept?

We also accept payment by check and bank transfer, however the order will only be prepared upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounting department.
